Hi! Hello!
I feel like I haven’t read a book that has made me cry in years. I gravitate towards fiction, fantasy, and some light-medium sci-fi. I like to listen to books as I quilt so a good audioboom recommendation would be fantastic!
I really enjoy works from authors such as Neil Gaiman, Nicole Krauss, Jonathan Safran Foer, Andy Weir, Fredrick Backman, Jane Austen, etc. I just devoured the Daevabad Trilogy on Audible and really enjoyed each of the books.
I have not cared for books such as The Midnight Library nor The House on the Cerulean Sea but am open to any other book recommendations !

If you get into the Discworld series you will likely cry by the end but it helps if you know the characters. The first two are zany slapstick comedy.
I shed a few tears when I read book 4 of the Thursday Murder Club. I read it on Kindle, and I don’t know if the audiobook is good. You should read the 4-book series in order.
