    1. What type of romance? Are you looking for smut? How spicy? No smut? Contemporary or older romance?

      Summer Romance by Annabel Monaghan

This Summer Will Be Different by Carley Fortune

The Rule Book by Sarah Adams

    3. Double Pucked
      The Never King
      Neon Gods

I enjoyed all of these also and they are all very spicy.

    4. I prefer historical romances, I really read contemporary ones so ignore my comment if you’re not into historical inspired novels.

Under the Oak tree – romance/fantasy/historical, started for the spiciness, stayed for the plot. The main couple are quite toxic but it mostly had to do with the environment they grew up in; lots of character development. The romance made me tear up.

(P.S. mentions of family abuse, suicide, child abandonment, war, many deaths, racism, disable main character [she has a stutter which is the reason why she was abused by her family, and it doesn’t magically go away!!!]

The Blue Castle, is a more slow, slice of life romance about a spinster that learns she will die soon so she decides to do whatever the heck she wants. Loved it, though it’s quite of it’s time.

The Summer of the Spanish Women 10/10, first couple chapters are a bit of a drag, but by god does it become one of my favourite books ever after the main character arrives in Spain.
