I'm usually a pretty big reader but I'm really struggling to find anything I want to pick up at the minute. Can anyone give me any suggestions? I don't like books which have animals in them. I don't like romance books and I don't think I like famous people's biographies. The only fiction I really read are murder/detective books, Reacher, Lincoln Rhyme etc. I mostly read non fiction, usually focussing on North Korea, The Holocaust, Rwanda genocide, Cambodia Genocide, etc from a survivor perspective. I'm more interested in the social history than politics when reading for pleasure.
I'd really like some ideas about a new topic or genre that would grip me. Any ideas?
