I'm looking for book suggestions. I'm a 37 year old female. The issues I'm having is I'm not really resonating with just out of college young adults. But I'm also not at that stage of life were menopausal, empty nester type books appeal. I don't know what I'm looking for, or if this even makes sense. I'm just struggling to find books that appeal lately. Some fantasy is okay, it's not my favorite genre. I'm okay with adult content, but don't want it to be pure smut.

Depends what you like, I suppose. I’m a similar age to you and recently started enjoying adaptations of Greek mythology – Mythos, Circe, The Song of Achilles.
If you like thrillers, then books by Gillian Flynn and Gillian McAllister are good. Stephen King horrors are easy to get into. Kate Atkinson has lots of great books and also Jessie Burton.
