I used to read a lot. A huge amount. Sci-fi, fantasy, classics, Shakespeare, poetry, prose, some horror, history, and then I took 3rd and 4th level courses with text books, scientific, ethics, innovation, finance, HR, math, etc, peer reviewed papers by the 100s and then I lost the will to read.
I've started a few books, never to finish them. I recently pushed through the 3 body problem trilogy…eeek. That was a push and quite a few psychology and science papers out of necessity.
As a kid I loved to read. Then reading became a tool. And a tool means work.
Now I have 3 weeks to fill emptish time (less demands) and I'm looking for recommendations for a couple of hours reading a day. Four books if possible. Definitely one off, no series, open to exploring anything but it needs to be an easy read, I'm trying to access muscle memory.
Thanks

The Princess Bride is great for this. It’s a bit different from the movie but it’s fantastic.
