I remember a book from gradeschool, maybe 5th grade? It was a historical fiction from the perspective from a little girl. It often noted the jewish Uncle who would pretend to change religions and support Hitlers teachings in hopes that he wouldn't also get taken away.
I think the girl had a brother? I don't think she was living with her parents, or her entire family was living together. In the end, the Uncle and everyone ends up getting killed anyways.
I don't remember any of the names.
