I loved it beyond words and I’d like to watch the movie soon. But I’m looking for another book to pickup, perhaps something with magical realism or a naturalistic theme. I’ve enjoyed Latitudes of Longing, The Wood Wife, Radiance of Tomorrow… maybe you catch my drift?

Just as a note, Simon Birch doesn’t use the name because it is so loosely based on the book Irving requested it not. It is also not well reviewed. Owen is one of my favorite books too; I’d steer clear of the movie.
