Can’t remember the name of a book…. Romance

I read a book in like 7-8th grade it was honestly one of the first books I ever enjoyed and what got me reading. I remember it had a white cover with kind of a colorful burst. It told a story where the chapters were going back and forth between the guy and the girl. One of them had to part ways so the story took place all within a day or so. And at the end they ended up seeing each other on a plane many years later. I believe it had sun or star in the title…. Honestly not sure that’s about all I can remember as this was many years ago…. If anyone can figure it out I would more than appreciate it
