I'm looking for a book about etiquette for my grandma, who recently told me she's anxious about how to act/which fork to use/other niceties at an upcoming rehearsal dinner for a family member's wedding. She loves to read, and I wanted to see if anyone had any recommendations for a fun, accessible book about manners/etiquette. (She's a very polite southern woman, so it's worth noting that her claiming not to know anything about etiquette is more of a class-based insecurity than anything else.) Since I know manners can be local/regional: she's from the Appalachian region of the US and now lives in the midwest. Bonus points if the book is funny or a little tongue-in-cheek, but nothing too crude/with too many curse words–this is a Southern Baptist woman in her eighties!
Suggest me a book that will help my grandma feel confident about her manners at a fancy restaurant!
