I’m really trying to get my sister to like reading and she’s okay with some chapter books being read to her, but I’d really like her to read books herself because she needs to strengthen her reading comprehension.
I’m having success on getting her to read Graphic Novels, which is great. She’s read through a couple of books I’d consider more “girly” but to be fair I loved PJO at her age! She isn’t quite sure on what she wants to read, so I’m trying a little of whatever catches her eye.
I’ve noticed recently she watches a lot of love story type videos when she has a chance to watch YouTube. So, this time around at the library I got her to check out The Prince and The Dressmaker, but that is where my knowledge stops for romance graphic novels at her age. I mostly read novels and everything I read is much too old for her, so I am out of my element.
Any suggestions for romance novels for a young girl, preferably graphic novels, would be awesome.
