    For me, it has to be "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee. The first reading was such a powerful journey into themes of justice, empathy, and the complexities of human nature. To recapture that initial sense of discovery and emotional impact would be truly unforgettable.

      The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms by N.K. Jemisin

      I can’t really explain why. It just spoke to me somehow. The writing was beautiful and the characters and universe fascinated me. I’ve reread it since, and I will again, but that initial ethereal wonder can be be replicated.
