Historically accurate short stories from people in the middle ages

Hi guys,

I would like to read about authentic stories of people living in the middle ages (ideally around 14-15th century). Could be anyone and any kind of story, like a peasant who almost starved because a wolf killed all their chickens, about a knight, who got ambushed by bandits while hunting… A funny story at the tavern… Literally anything! Maybe there exists some sort of collection of some storys from people around that time.

But it has to be authentic. I want to learn about everyday life of these people, although I think most of these storys will never be told, as very few people could read and write.
