ok guys, first of all let me say i haven't read a book in ages. probably since i was 16 and i am 28 now. and another confession, the only books ive read were the whole harry potter series & the whole twilight saga, & i remember being completely obsessed. like i couldnt wait to come home from school just to continue reading, even if i have watched the films. but after that, never read a book again.
i miss that feeling. if you could recommend me just one book to get me into reading again, which one would it be? a book that will make me glued to the pages & make me want to start reading even more?
thank you ❤️
edit: i think i would enjoy romance, maybe something sad, or i dont know… something i would deeply feel, while reading. being completely there with characters

My go to book rec for people who want to get into reading is Holes by Louis Sachar because it appeals to all ages, has really short chapters, and is super engaging!
the six of crows duology!! really great character writing and a really fun plot. there’s cool a magic system too, if that appeals. and this next bit is very much anecdotal, but ive had several friends who don’t read much fall in love with the six of crows books.
the other series i would suggest is the raven cycle, another y/a series with great character writing and interesting fantasy elements. trc also has a technically romance-driven plot, too!
