With themes like : sensuality, exotic, interethnic romance, etc. I am not inherently asking about an erotic book (as they are always coming as fetishizing), but something that exudes it ?
I've read the book, seen the movie, and I am currently reading "The Lover of North China", the reinterpretation of the author. I was wondering if they were any similar books with similar aesthetics, because I can't seem to find one.
The most important point for me is that there is an interracial couple, and that it take place in a "vintage" era (70s, 60s, 20, etc.). If it take place in another place that in a Western country, it's okay for me. If, overall, the book just follows the aesthetic of "The Lover", even if it is not an interracial couple, I will say that it is ok for me.
