I'm looking for a book about characters who had been sent to our "normal" world after being in a fantasy world, who then return to the fantasy world.
Like for example: when the characters were younger they fell into or were brought the fantasy world, grew and made lives there, and then were sent back to our world and never fully recovered and never stopped wanting to return. Or a character originally from the fantasy world was banished to our world but returns years later.
The inspiration for this request is the short comic Bitter Ex Heroes, if that helps.
