This might be too specific but, I’m looking for a sci-fi (preferably space themed) series or author that has a lot of action, but also some witty humor.
I just finished a book called “black hole sun” by David Macinnis Gill, which was my favorite book growing up. I used to think it was the wittiest and most action packed book ever, but it sadly is not all that good to me, ten years later. The humor in it is now corny to me, and the action is pretty predictable (that might just be because I know what’s going to happen).
Long story short I’m looking for something that will give me the feeling I got reading that as a kid. When there was a “slow” part in the book, I was never bored because I thought the dialogue was so entertaining. The pages were turning and I was so excited to continue reading because when i wasnt on the edge of my seat, I was laughing.
