I don't know what my thing with rain in literature is, but I absolutely love it. It is the one thing which, if it is described vividly in depth, I am able to completely immerse myself in. Examples that I have loved are:
- Grapes of Wrath (last chapter)
- One hundred years of solitude (one part where it rains for years)
- la belle sauvage
- the left hand of darkness (endless snow landscape)
Any suggestions are much appreciated.
