Really enjoying this read. What would you suggest as my book #2 by King? I know there’s a degree of interconnectedness to his stories / characters across his bibliography, so trying to determine what would make sense for my next read once done with Carrie. Thanks!

It’s much more recent, but my favorite lately is 11/22/63. If I recall, it has some small callbacks to other novels (“It”) for sure, but you don’t need to know that to enjoy the plot. The Stand is the other one I was obsessed with in high school if you’re ready for a door stop.
Carrie was my first Stephen King, too! My second was Firestarter, then Christine. I’d recommend reading one of those two next.
