So recently just dived in to properly reading for enjoyment and have made my way through a few books so far and looking for some recommendations based on these.
The inheritance cycle series – Christopher Paolini, read Murtagh too, enjoyed the series. 4.5/5
Shogun – James Clavell. Dived in to it after watching the show, it was really good although. 4.5/5
Fourth Wing – Rebecca Yarros. Well I didn’t quite realise what it was, it seemed to have high stars in the reviews and was on sale and seemed to be about fantasy, dragons and shit which I thought okay cool. Was quite put off by how self masturbatory it comes across, and cringy. Disliked how it was all from a single perspective I guess, like “I did this, I felt this, I said this”. I felt like I was reading a teenage girls fantasy diary. 1.5/5
