I’ve always avoided science fiction for the most part largely because a lot of focus on technology doesn’t appeal to me (even in a more realistic sense, i.e., Tom Clancy). But I’ve watched a few sci-fi shows (Almost Human, Star Trek – really late to the party) I’ve really liked and I’d like to give reading books in the genre a real chance lol
I typically read historical fiction and fantasy and like almost anything from Neil Gaiman or V.E. Schwab. Other books I’ve really enjoyed are The Witches of New York, The Oracle Glass, The Alienist, The Angel of Crows, The Lost History of Dreams.
