I’m in a horrendous reading slump, and I just need to find some shorter books to help me get out of it. No kids/teens (16+ and under) books. I do enjoy Graphic novels, but not superhero comics please. Willing to read all genres except horror, crime, or anything with violence. Bonus points for any books that are LGBTQ+ and/or POC main characters, but ALL suggestions welcome in general. This sucks to not have read in months, so I really appreciate y’all’s help. Please and thank you.

When Among Crows, by Veronica Roth. At 166 pages, so not entirely what you’re asking for, but I still read it in one evening. Modern day retelling of slavic folklore, and characters who are LGBTQ+.
It’s not checking any of your boxes but the length one – I will ponder if I can think of a novella that checks them – but my favorite book under 100 pages (i. e. novella) is Ernest Hemingway’s “The Old Man and the Sea”.
I loved The Tao of Pooh (Hoff). Easy yet semi-profound read, using Winnie the Pooh characters to explain principles of Taoism.
Blanky – Kealan Patrick Burke
Under 100 pages is usually novelette length. These often end up in collections along with short stories. I recommend “Buffalo Gals Won’t You Come Out Tonight” by Ursula LeGuin. That’s available as a stand alone (with some nice artwork in recent editions) or in a collection. If you’re willing to go to 199 pages, I recommend “Spear” by Nicola Griffith. It’s an LGBTQ+ coming of age in an Arthurian fantasy setting. I would not consider it YA.
The pearl – Steinbeck
The old man and the sea – Hemingway
