I’m not really into sci-fi and/or science-y books and The Martian and Project Hail Mary, both by Andy Weir, blew me away.

Firstly.) Sphere by Michael Crichton. I’m not a Sci-fi fan generally. However this one absolutely had me hooked! I still find myself thinking about this book months later. Secondly.) I’m not big on futuristic/ dystopian stories, but Ready Player One by Ernest Cline was absolutely fantastic.

Shogun by James Clavell. Up until then, I had only read scifi and fantasy novels. It was one of the most captivating books I have ever read.
