It may be a stupid question, as there are many really thick books. Now the thing is, because I have a chronic illness I have weak hands and my joints dislocate really easy. I struggle with books as is and books that have been too big I've read on my Kobo. But I prefer a real book over my Kobo always. Now I want to read Les Miserables again. I've read several versions and now I want to read the Fahnestock & Mcafee version, and I have a physical copy if it, but there's no way I'd be able to handle it. It's so thick, if I put a page it's already hard to keep it open!
How do you "normal handed" people deal with a book like this?

I usually sit on a couch or bed and place a pillow in my lap and then the book on the pillow. It’s not the best posture for reading, but it’s the best for heavy books imo
