I’m trying to set a good example for my kids this summer by not just signing them up for the summer reading challenge but participating myself! It’s all about minutes read, and I’m a fairly fast reader when the content is engaging and flows well.
I’m not looking for the best books you’ve ever read! I’m just looking for “brain candy” that I can power through and rack up those minutes!
Similar books I’ve read so far:
*Everyone On This Train is a Suspect
*Everyone in My Family has Killed Someone
*Finlay Donovan series
*The Housemaid
*Misery
*Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine
*Dolores Claiborne
*The Death of Mrs. Westaway

For comedy-horror, Tales from the Gas Station by Jack Townsend (and its sequels)
For comedy-mystery, One for the Money by Janet Evanovich
I recently flew through *Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus. It’s an engaging read and flows really well. TW for SA.
