How do y’all feel about either type of books?
I’m gonna use some popular examples since I’m not that well read but mistborn and dune.
Dune is kinda ambiguous in its aesthetic and lets the reader interpret things like architecture and styles of clothing. On the contrary, mistborn has a clear aesthetic and is described to paint a picture of the reader’s mind.
Personally, I’m somewhere in the middle but I tend to prefer books with a clear style and aesthetic
