The Queen’s Gambit is a prime example for me, though it’s a side part of the plot. This book is also written in prose that is so beautifully straightforward, it just makes me feel calm despite the heaviness of the subject matter. I want that lol

Hmmm I am not 100% sure this is what youre looking for maybe someone else whos read it can weigh in, but The Goblin Emperor by Katherine Addison has loneliness as a major theme and a large portion of the plot I would say
