Does anyone experience some guilt when they don't finish a book? I was about halfway through two books last month and I couldn't finish them. It almost felt like a chore to get through what I did read. For some reason I feel guilty because I didn't give the book a chance.

*Some* guilt ‘yes’, but it doesn’t last. There are too many books out there I’d prefer to spend my limited time on. And, if you need a little boost, tell yourself “I can always come back to it.”
Life is too short to spend time on reading books that you’re not enjoying.
I DO. I HAVE EXTREME GUILT WHEN NOT FINISHING A BOOK.
But i study literature.
I used to but now I don’t care
