I love the Little House series by Laura Ingall Wilder so much, but Farmer Boy has always been my favourite due to its food element! If there's any more of these food-centric, cottagecore books I can read, please let me know!
Another example is also all the food scene sprinkles across the Famous Five books! So rustic so charming so delicious.

E. Nesbit always describes what her characters are eating. Laddie, by Gene Stratton Porter has a similar feel to Farmer Boy, at least to me. These books are in the public domain in the U.S.
