Just finished reading *All you need is kill(*book Edge of Tomorrow is based on) and it left's me hungry to read more based on that similar type premise.
Was wondering if there were any fantasy books that had a similar setup or trope of someone dealing with a repeating time loop, due to a God or some other fantasy type thing. But not on a huge scale where time goes back like years and years before the "event" actually happened. Something more of a smaller scale. To summarize, I'm hoping for something like
- Short, Repeating Time Frame.
- Purpose and narrative structure focus more on strategic improvement over time.
- Fantasy, action, and psychological themes.
Lowkey amazing seeing a person go through countless repeats of an insuperable wall, getting hit with doubts and hints of insanity, and then finally breaking through it after hundreds/thousands of attempts.
