Hello. I really enjoy fairly depressing subject matter, which feels funny to say. I'm not sure style matters as much to me as topic and immersion.
Alternative history books like Man In The High Castle and A Plot Against America are great fun.
I also like a lot of meaty apocalyptic epics like The Stand, Wanderers by Chuck Wendig, the Passage trilogy by Justin Cronin, and the MaddAddam trilogy by Atwood. Dense books with rich or offbeat world building.
I could also be in the mood for something between my two latest reads: After the Revolution by Robert Evans and We Must Not Think of Ourselves by Lauren Grodstein.
