Book about a romance that goes from high school to college to married life?

Only caveat is that I prefer books that don’t have half naked men or women on the covers and are sold on a rack at an airport.
There’s nothing inherently bad with those books (I’ve read a few), I just prefer different types of romance. I love John Green, Rainbow Rowell, Jojo Mayes and a lot of romance manga like Horimiya. One could say… literary romance, but that would imply that I know what I mean when I say that.
