Tonight I've read one of King's collections of novella's, and that one is "Four Past Midnight".

This collection encompasses four novellas (hence the title!) of the horror that we all expect from King, and of course love!

First up is "The Langoliers" about an airliner jets where most of the passengers have disappeared and only a few remain with a destination to hell.

"Secret Window, Secret Garden" that peers into the very worst nightmares of a writer.

"The Library Policeman" where a local man is forced to hunt down a very dark secret that is hidden in a small town.

And lastly "The Sun Dog" a story set in Castle rock (and set before the events of "Needful Things") where two individuals are focusing on a beast that is bent on destroying their sanity.

Every novella has it's own introduction from the author himself, Imbued with his sense of humor and descriptions of the inspirations behind each of them. And of course both the introductory note and the other four all have headings that are based around the midnight hours (from straight up midnight to four past midnight).

I wish I could choose at least one of these novellas as my favorite one, but in reality I actually like all four of them! And I know a lot of like a specific one from this selection, most specifically "The Langoliers", as I believe that was made into a movie too. Well for me, you can never love Stephen King's work way too much!
