With the announcement of a new book coming soon it made me recall the one gripe I had with the BSS that I never got to discuss with anyone because no one I knew had read the book.
To me, I feel Snow's tragedy would have been 1000x more impactful if the town mayor had abducted Lucy when they were at the cabin and tried to kill him to punish her rather than have Lucy turn on him. This would have set Snow up to think she [Lucy] had abandoned him and was using him for the rest of his life, when in fact she did love him and wanted to be with him.
I still loved the book and am looking forward to the next one but had to finally get this off my chest.
