Here’s some books and authors I’ve been reading the last couple years by genre. Some of these are favorites, and some of them are just memorable books that I’ve read or listened to lately. Suggestions do not have to be long books or series, but bonus points if so because I’m a junky have been abusing audiobooks lately.
SCI-FI / FANTASY:
-Ursula le guin (went through a big earthsea and hainish cycle this year)
-LOTR trilogy
-Foundation series
-Dune (definitely do not need more of this lol)
-Three body problem
-Neil gaiman (especially loved sandman)
-Robert Heinlein (don’t need more Heinlein but author of some of my favorites. Was fun to read the moon is a harsh mistress back to back with le guin’s dispossessed)
-Shaman by Kim Stanley Robinson
GOOFY ENGLISH ARISTOCRATS (Not a real genre lol):
-PG Wodehouse
-Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell
