Hi all,
I’m looking for a new fantasy-esque saga to listen to. Currently in my Audio Library I have:
Tad Williams -Osten Ard, Otherland and Shadowmarch Sagas (on a separate note, has anyone else noticed the striking resemblance between Osten Ard and Shadowmarch?)
Terry Pratchett (GNU) – most titles in Discworld series,
Kate Mosse – Labyrinth series
Derek Landry – Skullduggery Pleasant (don’t ask!)
Stephen King – The Dark Tower series.
I’m looking for something similar to Tad Williams really, big chunky novels (25 hours minimum but willing to go less for decent stories). Don’t have much of a preference other than I’m not really into novels that lean too heavily into the romance side of things.
Any and all recommendations are most welcome. If you’d like my opinions on any of the books listed, feel free to ask and I’ll answer as best I can.

First Law Trilogy, Age of Madness Trilogy and the 4 standalone books all by Joe Abercrombie within the same world are fantastic. Doesn’t lean heavily on romance, multiple different POVs, political intrigue, tons of very well written battles, good dark humor as well.
