I’m in a bit of a reading slump. Looking for basically what my title says. I’d prefer if the magical world is more whimsical as opposed to “sword and armor” type vibes.

i first read this in my 30s and absolutely fell in love with it. it is **far** superior to HP in my opinion. it’s just incredible.
you should be able to read a free sample of it on libby. i was hooked pretty much immediately. i truly cannot believe that this hasn’t been adapted into a film.
