Books to make you ready to be promoted to a manager/consultant/leader

I'm working in Tech and got bored with my job. I wanna engage more with people rather than coding etc. I poan to apply for a project/tech manager/consultant and wanna prepare a bit before applying. Can you recommend me a few books?
