The place I’m living has decided books are not allowed in anymore. Seriously. Let’s not get into that though.

So that leaves me with electronic options only. I do have a tablet, but it’s too large to hold comfortably, and I experience hand numbing. I also find the lack of feeling immersion breaking. Having a multi use device distracts me. I need something ONLY for books. I’m looking into e-ink devices, I like the idea of buttons for page turning. I want something bigger than my iPhone 13, smaller than my 10.2 iPad. I want the page feel and some lighting to it.

I’d love to have a device capable of both nook and kindle app use.

I know this is asking for a miracle, but if I could get some recommendations based on the things I’d want in an ereader, I know not all will be met.

I thank you for your time ❤️

    1. While I’m not sure what particular device to get, you can research the use of [Calibre](https://calibre-ebook.com/about) and [KOReader](http://koreader.rocks/) to load any ebook you want from any source, including Kindle/Amazon. Dunno about Nook. KOReader is a fantastic ebook reader all around able to read most formats, so you shouldn’t be limited by whatever comes with your ereader.

I think you are out of luck for buttons, unless you search for a very old model, and while you can use Android e-readers, I think they have way more functions than just books. Personally, I only have experience with a Kindle Paperwhite. It’s fine, but there may be other options.
