Looking for witty, creative fiction but *not* sci-fi or fantasy

Hello guys

I read a lot non-fiction but would like to read something more creative and witty recently. I don't like it to be too unrealistic (so no sci-fi or fantasy, sorry).

I quite like thriller but would like it to be on a more creative & witty side. For context, Yellowface's premise attracts me.
