I’m writing a book, so any book I read, or want to read, has to be almost amazing. Suggest a murder mystery you’ve read in the last1-2 years that completely kicks ass.
I've tried to read some murder mysteries, even ones that were written by NT Times best selling authors, and I just find them boring. Any suggestions would be much apprec.

[**The Murder of Roger Ackroyd** by Agatha Christie](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/16328) is by far the best murder mystery i’ve ever read. i was fucking screaming at the end. what an amazing story. i still can’t get over how well it was done.

What are some of your other interests? There are so many mysteries out there. You might narrow it down by looking for something that aligns with another interest…historical time period, fantasy/sci-fi, a specific place or hobby or theme. Do you want lots of murder and intrigue and spy stuff? Heavy on violence or mystery with no violence at all? There’s just such a huge variety. And bestsellers aren’t necessarily on that list because the books are wonderful…just sayin.

Waste of time responding to requests like this. “Amazing”? “Kicks ass”? Can you possibly make your request more subjective?
