As you may know usually when someone has a baby they receive cards as a congratulations, my cousin asked our family if instead of cards we gift them a novel with a written note.
As a note, it doesn't matter what age the books intended for, the mother intends to give the books to her child when she reaches an appropriate age for each book.
I was thinking of gifting them 'The Hobbit' by JRR Tolkien, 'Solitaire' by Alice Oseman or 'Coraline' by Neil Gaiman. But I'd like to hear your suggestions for what would make for a good gift book
