I like reading short story collections where the short stories are 5-13 pages. I was suggested Alice Munroe but her stories seem to average out to 20-30 pages. I'm still planning to read her stories, but I'd like to read something on the shorter side for when I'm between errands.
Another example of short story collection I loved is dubliners. And yes I've read hemmingway, Kafka, mieveille, nabakov and ficciones.
Also loved Flannery o'connor
Literary fiction only please. Open to classic or contemporary. But nothing with themes focusing on marginalized groups (sexism, racism, homophobia) because I just recently read some heavy stuff on those themes and I'd like a short break before I return to it.
