Okay so idk what's gotten into me but I want marriage of convenience trope where they don't exactly hate each other but they're not close either, they get married at the beginning of the book and agree that they'll just coexist, they keep having brief moments of intimacy but they just keep disregarding it, and then it all explodes all at once all the sexual tension is out, but they they go back to deny their feelings for each other for a while and then they think to themselves "we're married why are we fighting this" bonus points if the plot is actually compelling AND it's a slow burn
