if anyone has read this book please i want to hear you thoughts. i just finished it and i’m so heartbroken. i did not expect that at all. i was literally bawling my eyes out

i went into the book thinking it was gonna be something kinda weird.. i thought i was gonna judge the characters the whole time. i found myself sympathizing with lochan and maya (how could i not?!?) and i was even rooting for them at the end. that ending was so completely cruel:( i’m actually tearing up as a type this

i think i’m so affected by this because i didn’t properly prepare myself? i’ve read other sad books but i knew they were sad going into it. but i really didn’t think that the book was going to be so devastating. i actually don’t know if i can read another book again after this one. lochan 🙁 and maya 🙁
