I presume the answer to be “Yes”, but I never read them as a kid. Pretty much went straight into Stephen King at her age because I was a weird child!
She loves to read (thankfully), she loves spooky stuff, but can be quite sensitive at times. The last thing I want to do is have her getting worked up and having nightmares if she reads them before bed.
Any other recommendations would be appreciated, espeywoth Christmas coming up.

Don’t worry, Goosebumps is perfect for kids that age. I especially recommend Welcome to Dead House, Night of the Living Dummy, and The Haunted Mask.
The answer is indeed yes.
I read all the goosebumps at around that age and I loved them. They arent too scary, they’re just scary enough for a kid.
