Any books you liked about academia or academic rivals where focus is more on celebrating knowledge and learning and less how awful and toxic academia is?

So, NOT books like

• The Secret History, Donna Tartt
• Babel , R.F. Kuang
• A Deadly Education, Naomi Novik

It's ok if there is romance in the book but there doesn't have to be. It's also fine if there is some criticism of the academia, or a spooky atmosphere, I just don't want that to be the main focus of the book. The main focus should be love of learning and wonder of knowledge.

Also, IF it's a romance book I don't want the rivalry to be toxic or abusive.
