Hello r/booksuggestions !
I'm an English teacher who's trying to expand my repertoire of short stories for my grade 8 and 10 classes. I'm leaning towards more contemporary examples as the humor, style and references tend to reach the audience more effectively. My closest example is someone like Simon Rich (New Teeth – Everyday Parenting Tips and Laserdisc). Sarcastic, silly, relatable short stories.
Could be individual links to stories found online, or suggestions for anthologies/collections as I'll be able to purchase some options in September!
