I love books where I forget I’m reading for hours on end and I just watch the words come to life. I love vivid books, where I can see everything happening in detail and the characters become my friends.
I love all genres of fiction (apart from dystopian)
My favourite books in no specific order:
– The sea, the sea (Iris Murdoch)
– The Little Stranger (Sarah Waters)
– 11.22.63 (Stephen King)
– The Book Thief (Markus Zusak)
– The Winter King (Bernard Cornwell)
Thank you for any suggestions!

I Know This Much Is True by Wally Lamb. So powerful to me! I couldn’t put it down once I picked it up to read.
If you haven’t read Misery by Stephen King then I highly recommend it. There are tons more suggestions I could give but I’d start there.
The only book that made me feel more like I was watching a movie than reading was A Heartbreaking Work Of Staggering Genius. Loved it but it did start better than it finished.
