I haven’t really been a big book reader since I always found it hard to remain interested and I want to start getting back into reading. I know not every book will be a winner but there’s so many out there I’d love to give it another go!
I recently read the whole hunger games series in like a month which is insane for me! 😬 and nothing else has quite scratched my itch from it. I’m mainly looking for chapter books but I’m not opposed to manga/comics only issue is I’ll read those way too fast 😂😅

My sister recently gave me fourth wing to read and I absolutely hated that one! 😅 felt very slow paced and kinda cringy and the “sex” is just a no go for me 🤦♀️. I’m not opposed to having a romance in the story but I’m not about the long drawn out cringy stuff lol. I’m currently trying to read a dark and hollow star by Ashley shuttleworth which I’m enjoying but I just can’t get myself to really get into it idk if it’s the pacing or if it’s just me. I really want to like it because I do want to know what’s gonna happen and I’m enjoying the female “romance” (also cuz it feels more classy and it doesn’t feel like it gets in the way of the story if that makes sense) but Ive been picking at it for over 2 months now and I’m just half way through it now🤷♀️.
I’m open to whatever suggestions you can toss my way and I’ll give em a go! If it helps I would love something like the hunger games series. I’m not sure how I’m feeling about the fantasy genre but that could just be because of fourth wing lol. I do like magic n stuff but I really want the book to make me feel! Make me care about the characters and then destroy me if you have to 😅👌 like there were times I couldn’t see the page when reading hunger games and I think I want some more of that! I feel like a dark and hollow star is ALMOST there 🤷♀️
