I recently read an article about why it would suck to be immortal. Language changing you had to keep up with, Time dilation, friends dieing. Ect.
It got me thinking that I couldn't think of any media that really covers living as an immortal as a human,God, or robot. The only one that I know of is interview with a vampire. Which is honestly phenomenal and covers a lot. But still. Looking for recommendations. Story or philosophy based are both fine.

There is this one web novel that I can think of that covers that (I don’t know if that counts on this sub) it is called “She Was Both Called God, as Well as Satan” and it ‘follows’ a human girl who is technically immortal and essentially omniscient who observes the world that comes after the end of humanity.

Check out Forever, by Pete Hamill. It’s about a guy from Ireland who comes to New York in the 18th century and is given the gift of immortality subject to the condition that he never leave Manhattan Island. https://www.goodreads.com/en/book/show/148465.Forever
